OMGawd... baby's food is here!
I'm gonna put this under a cut because alot of you guys aren't from the pregnancy community and I'm thinking you won't wanna know lol
My colostrum had arrived in my right breast quite some time ago, like weeks. And it would leak out a bit off and on - just a tiny drop every few days or so. After it leaked though, that was it. I couldn't express anymore or anything. My left breast was on strike. I was beginning to worry about my breasts being uneven, thinking that maybe the milk never would arrive on my left side.
Weeeelll, this morning, my left boob is now in the baby business. It's finally decided to join the rest of my very pregnant body in preparation for motherhood. It's not producing enough to leak as my right breast does, but I can express a drop or so from both sides now. This may seem like a silly thing to get excited about, but it's kinda another pregnancy milestone I've been looking for. One step closer to my little one.
Annelise, Sweetiepea: Your room is ready, your bed is clean and comfy for you, and now your food is ready. Hurry up and come out! We want to meet you!
:) Now I'm off to fight somemore with that Boppy sling carrier until Jay gets back and we go get his haircut. I still dunno how that thing works...
