added pictures of the bacon grease burn to the misc section of website. first two were taken 24 hours after the time of burn; the next two were taken earlier today, a week after. the second most annoying thing about the burn was that i missed the opportunity to get pictures the other day when the big puss sacks and blisters were fixed on my arm.

attempted to make bacon for breakfast the other morning; i foolishly had my phone in one hand, talking into it, and the pan in the other. as it cooked and the grease settled in the pan, it popped and a little bit struck my arm--one poor reaction later all of the grease was upon me. mainly down my forearm, as documented, and some through my shirt and onto my abdomen. then a lot of pain, followed by a trip to the ER, then some morphine and another 'fluid', finally got all bandaged up. diagnosis: 1st through 3rd degree burns, but overall a 'superficial' burn that won't need any further work. a couple more weeks to heal completely though.
