Apt Shopping

I hate apartment shopping. It stresses everyone out, there's a ton of questions that you must ask every place you look at, my poor little cat which is totally de-clawed and causes absolutely no damage to any place I live costs so much extra to keep at an apartment, ugh.

Oh well, such is life and the changing there of it.

Actually, I found out that the reason most apartments charge so much for cats is not because they scratch things, but because cat pee has certain odors in it that are hard as heck to get rid of. Not that cats peeing all over the place is usually a problem, since cats tend to utilize their litter boxes with no problems, but still, they say, accidents happen. Just thought you might like to know in case you can come up with a creative solution to the problem. ;-)

I knew about the cat pee thing. I had a cat that had that problem of peeing outside the litter box, but the cat I have now doesn't pee on the carpet, ever. I think apts should take references on pets. You know previous places you've lived to show that the animal doesn't damage things by peeing or any other method, and then wave the pet deposit or pet rent.

Maybe you could try it. See if you can get some references, and type it up like a resume (kitty resume: that's so cute!). Who knows? Get the right person, and it might actually work. No one I know has ever tried it.
