So I haven't posted in forever because I've been unbelievably busy working two jobs which amount to about 45+ hours a week. By the time I make it to OKCCC where I can use the net I am tapped out from having taught 7th grade summer school math for 4 hours to students who really don't want to learn. I like my new apartment, (WARNING RANT COMING ON) but the management is trash! They won't do anything, and they sure won't commit to even telling you a day by when they will take care of things that should have been done without asking before I even moved in!! Well I signed the paperwork on my new apartment today. My new Graduation gift furniture will be delivered tomorrow, and we will move all my stuff in tomorrow evening(we = my parents and two guy friends). I just heard back from OU! Great news! They are Upping thier offer. So it seems God is once again pulling the strings behind the scenes. Baylor's offer just increased my offer from OU and if I get the wethington fellowship then the tuition waiver will increase as well. Funny how God kept Baylor from giving me an offer when I would have willingly ( Read more... )

I went in and spoke with OU yesterday. They really seemed to want to keep me! They are going to check their funds and see what they can do for me. Also there's another fellowship that they are going to nominate me for, they can't give it out but they can nominate students for it. I have spoken with the Graduate director at Baylor, and their offer is superior to OU's. My parents and I are going to drive down on Friday to check out the area, the campus, and so I can speak with them in person about the program and such ( Read more... )
