Yeah so I read the book. Part of me wanted to agree but then there was the whole other part of me that thought it was bullshit. We no longer live in a world where we can afford to just wait for guys to show an interest. Agreed it sure does make the relationship a lot easier if he does the most of the chasing but it doesn't always work that way. I am going to finish this idea later... must go to school

I really do agree with ya. Every person's situation is totally different and people should do what works for them, but if it's not working then they could try other stuff out like the ones suggested in the book.
What does irk me too about the book is he makes it sound like it's the be all and end all. It's his way or no way will it work which is crap!

And there is no guarantee that just because the guy goes after the girl will things work out and not the other way around, but I do notice that for me, every guy I have ever liked first and then hooked up with, things never turned out, but that is kind of obvious since I have a b/f now and he went after me...

If I was single again, I would never follow the book 100%, but maybe give some stuff a try and realize what kind of shit not to put up with from a guy!
