Yet another chapter in the life of Steve unfolds in front of the whole world to see...Sorry about the lack of posts, between work, sleep and completely forgetting about Livejournal because of Myspace, things have been a bit hectic...Not sure What I posted last so I'll just outline things...went to Kentucky to visit some friends of mine and finally meet up with Deana, whom I've been talking to for almost 10 years...was really nice to finally get to talk to her in person and grab something to eat...did a few fun things while I was there and then came back to the northeast...went to go check out a job that my previous boss was supposed to hook me up with in West Mass, only to find out half way there that he quit the night before because of some inner issues...decided to go to the place anyways and talk to the general manager and see what she had to offer...we talked about a few things and came to the conclusion that since my boss wasn't there, I would get shafted on everything I was promised so I decided not to take the job (also didn't help that it was about 2 hours away)...on my way home, I thought it would be fun to play pinball with my grandfather's forester across the Mass Pike, putting about $6700 worth of damage on it, a day after the car was completely paid off...spent the rest of the day waiting for a tow truck to pick us up in West Springfield and went home...since then, I've been dealing with insurance issues and police reports and what not...also finally got a car, registered and everything in my name, but it prolly won't be MY car till my dad gets his lazy ass off the couch and gets a full time job so he can pay for his own car...so I started back at the hotel and I'm currently working there full time, still making $12 an hour but I should be getting a raise within the next couple of days as well as benefits so I really can't complain...went to vermont with my cousin for the day and checked out her college, not a bad little place...and now that brings me to now...here I am, on a Tuesday night where I have better things to do...I'm called in on my day off because my boss is a lazy fucking twat and decided to schedule the Monday-only guy on Tuesday too and give me and the other full time cook the day off...and, to top it all off, it is now 5:45pm, the restaurant opened at 5 and theres no fucking waitress/waiter/bartender...oh, and my uncle's nephew, one of my good friends died in his sleep Saturday morning (R.I.P. James David Walker, you will be missed)...so now I'm going to go find something to do...see you all again real soon, I promise...
