A good friend of mine posted this. One of her childhood friends is in Iraq with the Army, not for 12, 15, or even 18 months, but for 2 solid years. I felt this deserved to be reposted, and it's EXACTLY how I feel (regarding all the VT publicity). Oh and if any of you want to flame me for reposting this, don't bother. You won't change my opinion and ( Read more... )

Yeah...that's how I felt about it all too. I mean the whole thing that happened at VT was really sad and a horrible situation but it's pathetic that our media and country cares more about that than our troops over there. It makes me sick really. If they only realized that they go through over there and what they are missing back home then maybe they would give them a little more attention and support.

I totally agree! Although I dont know if you have seen it on your tv over there but there is somebody doing thank you card boxes all over the country for our troops in car dealerships! Its about time people are thankful for what those men and women do every day!

That's great. Even though it's poorly written, it flows in such a way that it makes sense. It's the truth and we need to see more of that.

The grammar and spelling made my eyes bleed, but he gets his point across very well and it's very moving. I don't think I've ever seen anything worse than my husband dealing with PTSD when he got home. Luckily it won't be so bad this time around. They're in a decent area.

Hey babe. That made so much sense. I hope things are fine when Nate gets back. *Big hugs* Were still trying to get mine some help. Especially since I have started having to sleep on the couch because of the PTSD. :(

It's hard to make a baby when ya sleep in seperate rooms.

Poor Wee-yulll. Nate was pretty bad. He would kick and punch and elbow me in his sleep. Nate wants to make another baby when he gets home. >_< I'll do it though, because if he doesn't get the reenlistment contract he wants, he'll be EASing in August of 08. Tricare rocks.

I miss you. :(
