Melatonin is produced in your hypothalamus (I think) and all it does is regulate your sleep patterns, meaning, if you usually don't get sleep until that late, that counts as a type of sleep pattern as well. if you really want to fall asleep when you want there are other OTC meds you can take. organic supplements are full of shit, and I realize that this comment is now, 1. longer than your post, and 3. has nothing to do with your post anymore. oh well
