HI LIVEJOURNAL.
Hello! I don't update here much. I often start updates and then don't finish them because they are long winded and dull. I am sorry. Here are some things that have been happening, written in the form of a school essay.
Tony the AIDS Cat
There was an stray FIV+ cat, I don't know if I've spoken about him here before. We were going to adopt him, then the vet said it'd be a bad idea, so we tried to adopt out to be told by everyone else in the world that an FIV+ cat really isn't that big a deal, so we have adopted him. It's only been a week but everyone is having a hard time adjusting and we don't see much of Howard and Vince at all. It's sad and I hope they improve. We spend a lot of time putting them in Time Out for hissing. Blargh.
Here is Tony a few weeks ago. He has lost weight recently and I'm not sure why:
Wedding.
We may be throwing caution to the wind and get married for less than £2k on 4th September. I don't know yet, it depends on a field and depends on whether my sister and nephew can come. I'm not stressed about the organising but stressed about Pete's family who have done an excellent job of making me feel unwelcome, shunned and excluded. Also I've had no-one be excited for me (selfish, right?), idk it just brings home how everyone is so far away. GOSH I sound so bitter, honestly today I am feeling it. Pete's mum hasn't gone mental after he told her yesterday, but truth told she's been on the edge anyway and the will she/won't she is hard work.
I swear some days I am happy about this.
Work.
I got a pay rise, that was nice and unexpected although small. Aside from that it remains dull.
Garden
It's stressful when things die (I HATE YOU, SLUGS AND SQUIRRELS) but I'm about to harvest potatoes, I've got loads of tomato plants and I've just started catching up with myself, so right now I'm positive about it. I'm either really excited or really stressed about how behind I am and how many massacres there have been, but this week I'm pleased to be the former. It's a shame potato harvest time is coinciding with diet time.
There was a fox in our garden:
Clearly all the action happens in that part of the garden! See how fox is menancing Mean Old Mr Munch? That is our neighbour's cat.
Running
I have started running in the mornings. Well, I've gone once so far. It is hard but satisfying. I also do the Mel B Totally Fit DVD because I am COOL.
Pete
Will not admit he is a smellyhead.
I can't remember what else I was going to update about, so
FUCK OFF
