Summary: But for Hankyung, it felt as though it had been decades since he last saw Heechul…
Hankyung opened his mouth slightly, and allowed the clear and crisp air to flow through his windpipe, and spread throughout his lungs. It tasted heavenly.
“A perfect serene morning,” Hankyung thought silently.
He pulled up his well-toned leg towards the back of his body. He felt the front hamstrings pull. Then, he placed it down, and did the same to the other leg.
He stretched out his leg in front, and bent it. He could feel the rustiness of his muscles that have been left untouched for about a month or so.
“Finally, I can exercise them,” Hankyung said to himself.
He started off at a slow pace slowly around the lake, feeling the constant stretch in his inner muscles.
However, Hankyung felt pain in the muscles of his right back knee. Hankyung stopped in his tracks and gave it a gentle hit. The pain eased, so Hankyung decided to continue running.
When he thought that the pain would not be back, it continued to act up.
“Stupid old ailment acting up at this point of time,” he muttered with a tinge of annoyance.
“Shall just continue,” he decided.
He continued running, and quickened his pace after every minute. However, the pain continued to disturb his workout.
Hankyung admitted “defeat”, and stopped his running. Without him knowing, he collapsed onto the floor, clutching his leg.
Hankyung groaned in agony. It was hurting him real bad…
---
“Hurry hurry hurry!!” Heechul grumbled to the lift button.
As the door of the elevator closed, he closed his eyes. All that he could do now was to hope that the lift would listen to his “command”.
“13, 12, 11, 10…” Heechul muttered.
“Doors are opening.”
Heechul opened his eyes wide. “Stupid elevator.”
An old lady walked in, struggling with three huge baskets. Heechul gave a silent sigh of despair, and walked towards her, and pulled in the baskets.
“Kamsamnida,” the old lady said.
“Emm.” Heechul nodded.
Heechul could feel heat in him rising slowly. His heart was boiling with rage. Hankyung was probably downstairs by now… He sighed. But what could he do? Kick the old lady?
Heechul shut his eyes tightly once again, and counted as the lift went down.
“10, 9, 8, 7, 6…”
“Doors are opening.”
“Screw it!” Heechul cursed while opening his eyes.
The old lady looked at Heechul in shock.
“Sorry sorry!” Heechul said sheepishly.
A throng of people carrying luggages came swarming into the small lift. Heechul gave a huge sigh, and elbowed his way through the crowd.
After a couple of “Excuse me”s and “Thank You”s, Heechul finally managed to squeeze his way through the crowd of people.
Heechul ran to the staircase, and started his long journey down the stairs…
Heechul reached the first storey, and pushed the door aside. The door slammed against the wall nearby with a loud “thud”. Heechul ignored, and started dashing out, his eyes scanning for Hankyung.
He spotted Hankyung.
Hankyung was jogging around the lake. Heechul directed his eyes to follow the faint silhouette with the help of the lamppost that Hankyung was near.
Heechul sucked in his breath. Hankyung was gorgeous, as ever.
Just as he was admiring Hankyung, the most unexpected thing happened. Hankyung collapsed to the floor.
Heechul gasped, and started running towards Hankyung.
As Heechul approached Hankyung, he saw the furrowed brows of his lover, and the agony written all over Hankyung’s face. Hankyung was clutching his right leg tightly.
“It must be Hankyung’s old ailment…” Heechul thought.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed Heechul’s leg.
“Help me… Help me…” a faint voice mumbled from beneath Heechul.
Heechul looked down and saw Hankyung’s hand on his own leg. Heechul’s heart skipped a beat.
“It can’t be true…” Heechul told himself. But at the same time, he was enjoying every moment of it.
Just as he was getting used to Hankyung’s hand on his leg, the grip tightened.
Heechul snapped back to reality. There lay his lover, wincing in pain. Instead of helping, he was standing there like a fool, not assisting.
Heechul gave himself a light smack on his head.
Heechul kneeled down by his partner, and cradled Hankyung’s head into his arms.
“My pocket… The left… Left one… Ointment… Ointment… Rub it hard on the back of my knee…” Hankyung gasped out.
Heechul followed. His hand felt its way down Hankyung’s pocket. He pulled out the things one by one, and placed them on the floor.
There was Hankyung’s iPod, his ointment and…
“What’s this?” Heechul wondered.
Heechul pulled the unidentified object towards the light that was emitted from the lamppost. It was a necklace, with two seashells attached to it. It looked vaguely familiar to Heechul.
They were seashells from Hankyung’s grandfather. Hankyung have shown it to him before.
“It must be for someone special…” Heechul thought. “It must be Siwon, since they were so close when Hankyung came back…”
Heechul felt a tinge of jealously overwhelming him. But when he turned the seashells around, the words “HH” were encarved on the seashells.
Hankyung adjusted his position on Heechul’s lap. Heechul jolted back, and remembered what that he was supposed to do. He slipped the necklace into his pocket.
Heechul applied the ointment on Hankyung’s leg, and rubbed. Hankyung twitched.
“You okay?” Heechul said, only audible to Hankyung.
“Yeah… Just continue…” Hankyung managed to utter, his eyes still remaining tightly closed.
Heechul continued rubbing. He could not help it, but his hand was slowly feeling his way around Hankyung’s well-toned leg.
That sent a spark flying through Heechul. It have been a long time since Heechul felt Hankyung. Heechul could feel his hunger for Hankyung growling inside him.
Hankyung sat himself up.
“Why thank you… May I know your name?” Hankyung asked.
Heechul turned his face towards Hankyung, saying “My name is Hee…”
Before he could complete his sentence, both Heechul’s and Hankyung’s eyes met.
---
Hankyung was really grateful that finally someone came to help him.
“I wonder who this really kind person is, to help a complete stranger.” Hankyung thought.
“Why thank you… May I know your name?” Hankyung asked.
The person turned, while saying, “My name is Hee…”
Both their gazes met.
This face… Hankyung felt his throat go dry.
It was Heechul. That person that have kindly helped him was none other than Heechul.
Hankyung could not help it but look at Heechul’s face. This face, was the face that he had been missing for months.
But for Hankyung, it felt as though it had been decades since he last saw Heechul…
