I haven't had a study in over a month. Am I a bad person? I want to stick to it, but my goodness I get so caught up in other things (like the INTERNET, and chatting), or I get lazy. When I studied, I never attended the kingdom hall... ever, and I studied for at least 3 years. I had two people come to my place every weekend to study for an hour or so. I'm thinking you should go that route. Just because you don't go to the kingdom hall, doesn't make you bad person at all

i go to the kingdom hall every other sunday (on the sundays i'm off from work) that's not really a problem.. it's the IN home studies, that i haven't been doing.. blah

at some point or another a lot of people have been in this situation. i know personally that i have.

at least in this case your not in denial of it, you are aware of the situation {your conscience is working} and want to fix it.

i would suggest getting a mature spiritual sister in your KH to give your studies. at times having a family member giving us the study we tend to take advantage of the situation and slack off, give every possible excuse, etc...that's ok we're imperfect humans. but by making arrangements with someone else, this way they'll be more on top of you. put it all into prayer to Jehovah. don't lose the connection with your bible studies. they are very important. talk openly with your stepmom about the situation, on how you feel, etc and if you can reach a solution to this.

aww thanks... i think i might talk to a sister in the KH... It may be better that way. I am VERY conscious of it. I'll add you to my yahoo so maybe we can chat soon! thanks!
