I get served like three times an hour

Jul 05, 2004 02:20

I've been reading my journal from around a year ago.

It makes me feel amused and happy and sad and confused and thoughtful and mostly nostalgic.

I was so much cooler when I was interesting. Er.. I was so much more interesting when I was cool. Not that I was ever either.

And now I've just confused myself.

Mine is more of a question: anonymous July 6 2004, 18:15:10 UTC
Some scientists, such as Frank Steiner (as he was featured and explained in an article from "News Scientist" magazine), believe that the Universe is shaped similar to that of a mediaeval horn and curved in a fashion similar to a Pringle.

This would also mean that space is finite, which is also a popular belief among scientists.

All scientists believe there is a shape to the Universe, because nothing just IS, of course. The difference lies in the matter of whether or not it is infinite, making it's shape a rather moot point, or if it is in fact finite.

It is also believed that the universe is gradually expanding at all times. This is needed for any hope of an infinite universe. Those believing in the finite universe think it's shape warrants a certain size, that just keeps slowly getting larger.

Here is the question I pose to you out of simple, morbid curiosity:

If the universe is not infinite, where is it expanding to?

In response to the question above: Who freakin' cares?!?!?!?!?!?!? Does it really make a difference either way? It's not like we are ever going to SEE the end of the universe (the distance is far too great), none the less be able to develop the technology to take us there. Besides, the human race won't last very long, not at the rate we're going.

That response was longer than I meant it to be. Oh well.

Oooooooh...did anyone here that Kerry chose Edwards to be his running mate?! ^^ Sure, not my first choice, he's too mid-line for me, but he wasn't my last choice...hehe...

As for something no one knows, I'd just like to say that I'm happy. I'm happier than I thought that I would be, and I realize what I did was for the best.

Also that I'm cured and I like teh boys. tee hee hee

Yeah, I don't know why I put this as anonymous, I know Megan can read the IP adresses, and everyone probably knows who this is, but that's okay. Yeah!
