Hello! I knew Myrna from my childhood in Venezuela, she was a very good friend of mine. Her father, Elmer was my violin teacher and he played at the Orquesta Sinfonica de Venezuela, a very good friend of my father. These days I was thinking about him and tried to google Myrna and foun this sad news about her. Do you know anything about her health, when she left Venezuela I never saw her again.

Oh how sad to bring you this news this way. Myrna died within the year after I wrote that post! I think the following spring of 2006. I'm sorry I can't remember exactly when. Her husband Randy is now in the orchestra in Herford, Germany. He would be the best person to ask about her. You can also try our orchestra office at dso-berlin.de. She was a great person!! I'll never forget her many pieces of good advice, which usually involved making your wishes heard loudly enough. She's the one who taught me never to accept a lousy hotel room :)
I'm sorry for your loss, and hope you can find out what you want to know about her life.
