A reminder this holiday season!

Pass by those red buckets, ignore those jingling bells.

The Salvation Army is a church not a charity. They are an anti-gay religious group that openly discriminates in its hiring process and denies benefits to same-sex partners. They are also pro-life.

Yes. I've had a couple of bad experiences and then when they pulled that stunt in NY, I make sure to tell everyone, often, not to support them. Whenever I hear someone say, "I think I'll donate this to the Salvation Army" I immediately pop in and instruct them to go to Goodwill or Habitat for Humanity.
