Being self employed... what is it i can claim back on.. I have heard lots of differing statments and cannot seem to find a list of what I can and cannot.

I have been thinking of upgradig my mac... possibly buying a new one. but then I thought of simply updating the RAM chip.
I have looked at some online instruction, but have never done this before.. anyone care to lend a vocal hand to wether or not I should be trying something like this?
(Oh its an ibook G4 (256 ram I think)

QUESTION FOR MAC USERS...
1: How do you go about "de-fragging" a hard drive on a mac...
2: Would it cause much issues to delete "Iphoto" (I dont like the program and never use it).
