You just described my life on a daily basis.
Its a good experience I suggest trying it a few times at least.
Originally it was a choice but because of my job is now my lifestyle.
I still enjoy it more than going out with other people most the time, but anything after awhile becomes repetitive.

Well now im out of town, in Albequerque,NM, and I am forced to do this. I'm on a trip for work. so I'm out here all by my lonesome. I'm excited. I wonder what wierd, fun, and different people I will meet.

I go out to lunch with myself once a week on Fridays... just so I can center myself and what not. Once you get over the people asking if you're expecting anyone else and that yes, you are eating alone, its quite enjoyable.:)

Ya i go to lunch by myself all the time. I love it. I sometimes like it better than going with people. You can eat your food, read a book, people watch..whatever..its just so nice.
