So yeah, random thought: Anyone else bothered by these girls that take what could be great costume and ruin them by doing their take on the character in slut-tastic clothes? Fuck a duck man. I just saw a picture of a Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn which would be great since they had their own comic together, and cartoon I think <.<, but they didn't do ( Read more... )

I hate hate hate when people do that. >B| There are some exceptions that I've seen, because they're done well, but most of the time when people try to do it they just fail. Hardcore.

Swiffer Cid is one of those exceptions because that was just epic beyond epic. >BD

Ugh. For reals. :( I don't particularly like that shit either. It ruins the characters. Thats why its probably awesome if they go walking around a con and nobody knows who the fuck they're trying to be xD

:D Bellatrix is not a goth nightmare xD I don't think so. Her makeup isn't goth craaaazy enough for that shit. Besides, shes hot. Its okay. ;)

I know how you feel, because I actually know the girl you're talking about for poison ivy. XDD She's usually a really fantastically accurate cosplayer, so it was just like "Really Sam? REALLY?"

But I think my biggest peeve are the sex slut moogles. I mean, I've "been" a moogle, but I wasn't bearing my body for the world to see. I has a damn floor length skirt!

D: The Harley is actually one of my good friends. She probably did just throw it together to go with her Joker boyfriend because she's working on an accurate one, but didn't get it done in time.

I don't mind seeing people's takes on different versions. Unless, yeah, I mean you shouldn't use it as an excuse just to dress slutty. I can't really critisize or else I'd have to condemn my raver and goth Selphie too. lol

Was your friend the one that didn't have the white face paint, but did do the black mask make up? I saw her with a Joker and I liked that, they were so cute lol. I think it's just the white DX Don't cover yourself in that kind of make up if you're not going to go all out on the costume.

Yeah it wasn't you, it's was one of those "I'mma cute little catgirl who does my own take on cosplays" which never really ar cosplays XD lol

Don't feel bad about the dreaded Hot Topic! I used to go there all the time when they had the tasteful stuff, and now that it's mostly crap (Save for my Mad Hatter top hat AWESOME!) I don't really care for it anymore. Which would be fine except the damage is done and my family is convinced that I'm a closet goth who doesn't want to admitt to it and everytime I go to the mall with my mom she makes sure that we stop by Hot Topic because that's my store XD;; Whoops . . . .

Haha, no worries - I just also like to keep myself in line - it's like Estee Lauder, the makeup queen once said, "There are no ugly women...only lazy women..." And if you want to see a photo of my ghetto-fab Harley, go to my Deviant Art account - I have ONE up so far - Itchy-Tasty-Gal is my handle there :)
