Hmm... I committed something in 2007 and wanna share. Thankyus for Tessombra *bowes head* betaing it for me.

“He’s what?!” screamed Sunstreaker, jumping literally to the ceiling.

“You’ve heard well, Sunny, he’s carrying a sparkling - a sparkling of OURS,” explained Sideswipe with patience. He knew it would be hard telling his twin, but not this hard. Sunstreaker stared down absolutely refusing to acknowledge Bluestreak, sitting before him. The younger bot tried to smile. It was a weak try. He’d been afraid of this, since he became aware of his state…

Last evening Bluestreak was in the com room with the others. He felt good, chatted happily to everyone that would listen to him. Sideswipe was there too, Sunny had remained in their room finishing his wax job. It was a pleasant evening, no disturbing news, everything was quite ordinary. Patrols were returning and the nightshift had left already, even Red Alert was calm, which was rare. Then Blue felt some dizziness, and with an uncertain look on his face he turned to Sideswipe.

“Sides…“ Sideswipe was near and telling a joke to Hound. Half listening to his friend he just looked back over his shoulder, showing a ‘wait a minute’ expression when he realized that there was something wrong with Blue, who looked somehow tired in comparison of his normal behavior a few minutes ago; the change was so sudden and obvious.

“What’s wrong, Blue?” he asked, closing the distance with one long step.

“Dunno…” he muttered. “I felt weak and wanted to stand up and failed… I had a feeling of falling down though I was still sitting…” His face was pale and he was shaking a little. The red Lambo placed his hand on his shoulder in concern.

Hound stepped closer. “Heya Blue, do you wanna hear the punch line?” then he noticed Blue’s strange state. “He doesn’t look good. Take him to the medbay.”

“No, it has passed already!” Blue was in hurry to convince his friends that nothing had happened. Yes, the abnormal feeling was gone now, his colors were bright again and he smiled in relief. The feeling had passed and with it the fright too. Now he was afraid more of going to the medbay and this was more of a concern than the strange dizziness.

With a deep look into the optics Sideswipe let his grip loose and turned back to Hound. “No need, he’s okay now” he shared the uneasiness with Blue of going to a menacing place like medbay.

The incident went unnoticed by the others and Blue enjoyed his time. Sunny showed up, gave him a smile and a pat on the back and went on to be the center of conversations whatever they might be. Sideswipe sat now by another table talking with the Aerialbots, maybe a new prank in his mind was forming but time to time he looked the direction of Blue. Nothing extraordinary, he mentioned to himself.

Late in the night after more than enough good-night drinks, Sideswipe was walking to the door. Blue was still sitting, staring the half empty energon cube in front of him. ‘He’s drunk,’ Sides thought.

“C’mon, the party is over, we need to go now,” but he didn’t get a reply. Blue’s optics had a distant look. Sideswipe shook him gently. “Wake up; this ain’t the place of a proper recharge…” he stopped as Blue whimpered. “Sides… take me to Ratchet…”
