I barely went to school... to the point where I had trouble graduating.
It seemed so pointless--I could sleep at school or I could sleep in my bed.
Bed was more comfortable. Bed won.I think Michelle Tea is a new hero of mine. So is whoever decided that Americans should get insanely long school breaks for Christian holidays that almost no one ( Read more... )

Haha! I like your new term for Christmas. I used to call it Jesus day but now I just call it International Consumer Month. And yes, Jesus was a social dready radical. I think if he came back now he'd be mortified to think the moneylenders are having such a wonderful time of it on his birthday. He'd overturn credit cards!

actually, this is jesus' birth... the holiday that has been commercialized is Easter. Which is actually more important in the christian calendar than christmas.

I hadn't seen this and yesterday I was drivign around looking for places to move when my lease was up and all-whimlike stopped at your mom's to see if you were home. Sadness was mine.
