"By legalizing it you are in a sense attempting to force the beliefs in the lifestyle being governmentally supported and pressuring me to alter or compromise my own personal beliefs on the subject. This life should no more be governmentally backed than the topic of a woman's right to choose. Both are subjects which should be left up to individuals' own beliefs."

That's so dumb. Especially the "this life should no more be governmentally backed than the topic of a woman's right to choose" part. WTF? Dude, if they're going to be "left up to individuals' own beliefs" then that means ALLOWING THEM the ABILITY to ACT ON those beliefs. That's why it's called the 'right to choose'. They're not forcing every pregnant woman to have an abortion... and they're not forcing every gay couple to get married.

But this stupid woman is "OMFG IF WE DON'T STOP PEOPLE FROM DOING THINGS THEN I WILL QUESTION MY FREEDOM~~OMGWTFBBQ~!!1!!~one"

I hope they publish his reply. Seriously. So dumb.

they didnt publish his reply. the mail they sent him was "due to your non local residency, and the majority of feelings out readers hold, we cannot publish your letter for the reason it might cost us, the paper, too many subscriptions."
