Regarding Gay marriage kim_toussaint August 27 2004, 03:02:11 UTC
My husband's boss and his husband have been together 20 years. I personally hope we live to see the day when they can have a marriage license just like the one that Patrick and I do.

They are just as "Married" as we are - spiritually and emotionally speaking. These two great guys have been devoted to each other and living together for 20 years. They are vacationing in Hawaii together this week to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their "union".

It's just not right that Patrick and I get legal recognition for our marriage and Carr and Nes don't get legal recognition for their own. Their love, their bond, their relationship - is just as deep and wonderful as the one I share with my husband. They don't have kids - but if they did - those would be very lucky children. Carr and Nes are wonderful people. :)

So - I think that tells you were I stand on Gay marriage.

which is stupid, becuase, if they looked @ actual statistics, I'm betting they'll notice gay unions are more stable than "traditional" ones...
although there's no way to get a full stat for taht since people have to hide...

every gay couple i've known in my life, or I've officiated for handfastings, have ended up being more stable...
