My dad's wedding was fun. It was a full episcopal service outside, by a vineyard, with yummy food and wine as part of the reception. It was really great to see most of his siblings again; only one didn't come. Thomas got to meet the contigency who live in FL

Where are you working? The last I'd heard you were still looking. Congrats on finding a job! How are you enjoying NC?

at a call center in raleigh. Technically, it's a 'business development center.' It's for a car dealership. Nothing glamorous, and the teaching gig you have is probably more fulfilling, but it is a job that pays at least into the double digits per hour.

I'm a little worried, though, that I've already lost most of my russian :(

I worry about my loss of Russian as well, not to mention the other languages I have studied. I hope to find something more fulfilling (and lucrative) in the future. For now I will probably do another year of teaching before moving out of the area to someplace better suited for my goals. I am just thankful you have found something that helps pay the bills and you are comfortable with. How is Thomas doing?
