Well okay, Fall Out Boy returning has officially turned me into a crazy person, because I was struck with the need to transcribe the Zane Lowe interview with Pete. All 2000 words of it. So I hope someone out there likes the idea of having it typed out as much as I apparently do? ALSO LET'S TALK ABOUT IT, PLEASE COMMENT AND YELL ABOUT PETE WENTZ

I don't think any fic writer could EVER romanticize this band more than Pete does. Just reading this made my heart hurt a little. Yes Pete, we know that the hiatus hurt and trust is not easily rebuilt... GOD. What have we done to deserve his absolute ridiculousness. I hadn't realized before how bereft my fandom experience was for lack of this band being active. I haven't stopped smiling for two days.

The way that Pete throws all his feelings into interviews is such a GIFT. Pete will forever be Fall Out Boy's biggest fan and I love him for it.

And speaking of fandom, it's REALLY SURPRISING to me how much this happening has launched me into suddenly wanting to...actually participate in fandom and write in my LJ and talk to everyone about this and IT'S WEIRD, this fannish enthusiasm thing! Hopefully I will keep it up. And I have not stopped smiling yet, either. BAAAAND. <3

I think "I didn't know how to be an adult without Fall Out Boy" is always going to bowl me over. Because yes, yes, that's our Pete.

Pete has definitely built his entire emotional existence throughout his life around Fall Out Boy, man. It was maybe probably healthier that he had to learn to do life WITHOUT having that for awhile, but the fact that he gets to have that BACK is so, so awesome. He has his band and his son and things are well in the land of Pete Wentz, I'd say. :D
