I liked this. A lot. (And knowing me as you do, I'm sure you realize the magnitude of that statement.) You wrote Crocker just right - he was perfectly conflicted, but not in that sort of fire! brimstone! damnation! way that I personally think is just a tad overdone. And I loved Aaron - the way he spoke reminded me quite a bit of my own speech patterns, so that was worth a giggle in its own right :)

The thing with Crocker was a HUGE issue for me. I didn't want to make him OMG!uber!conflicted, but it didn't make (coming from where I am here with the signs on the gay bar doors) to make him completley accepting, either. I simply can't escape my need to create somewhat believeable characters.
