My first week of "taking over" part of my internship has been going well so far. We are making it like the first day of school, which is great. I started them on Interactive Notebooks, a creative way of organizing notes. They write a journal entry everyday and take notes and practice a new skill or social studies knowledge in it everyday ( Read more... )

Happy here is a comment, I miss you I miss our talks you're an awsome person and ya I hope one of these days we can catch up on things its been to long my dear, but i'm very happy that you're doing so well with school.

I miss them too! I am hardly online anymore, just enough time to catch up on everyone's journals (most) nights. Look for me on weekends though. :)

aww, I met with my supervisor, my 6th grade class is integrated language arts and social studies so I was explaining our classics curriculum when she asked about undergrad and how it was a good experience to draw from, she was very jealous. I didn't even tell her the Bryn Mawr influence. :)

Just by knowing kids will test and that they are having a week that makes them 'step up'
Continue to follow what you have learned and your heart and you can't fail.

That is a great picture you took, you will be able to look back on it for years. 'this is when it all started'
