In fairness to SQ, the real problem she had was that she only intended to send the email to everyone in the local office, but ended up sending it to everyone in the corporation. And then lots of other employees sent it to friends at other companies, and thus SQ's supervisor was a laughingstock.

If it had stayed in the building, probably nothing would have happened to her.

Oh, also, she has obviously learned some discretion, or perhaps went back to her old name. I just tried to google SQ and got no hits. :-)

Yeah, well, I don't think sending it merely to the entire office would have been too clever, either. And whatever she intended, her primary job description demanded that she exercise some intelligence over how, when, and to whom information got disseminated. She clearly did not exercise that intelligence.
