I realised a few weeks ago that I hadn't done anything creative just for me in a long while, so I decided to do so. This was supposed to be quick and easy, but I nit-picked and redrew so much while doing it, it took forever. I eventually forced myself to put down lines and keep them ( Read more... )

Oh poor Drift. He just wants to have a nice unmolested day. It doesn't matter if it is tentacles or Autobots, things just don't go his way. And that little flower! Eeeeee

It is actually a beetle.

He hasn't picked flowers since the Morphobot incident. Vines remind him too much of the horror.

Adorable though Drift may be, I love all the little details about Blurr you threw in. Like the dust trail he leaves as he zips up to Drift's side, it's so adorably Roadrunner-ish. And sticking out his tongue as he walks away. I didn't want any of that anyway, nya! And you're right, the beetle is just mocking him in that last panel. na na nanana!

The dust was to make Blurr look fast, so roadrunner is a pretty good comparison. He was either going to be sticking out his tongue as he left, or blowing a kiss. Like you said, I decided pretending he didn't want any o' that in the first place was more like him.

The first four frames are my favorites. Blurr skidding to a stop, Drift being all proud of his little ladybug, Blurr's "Immagetchoo" grin - there's just not enough squee in the world. XDDD

lol, I like hearing how other people interpret that. In my head, it's somewhere between, :"Awwwwwwwwww yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah" and "hm hm hm hm hmmmmmm".

Considering how much you like Blurr, yeah I'd say that's fine.
