Swinging the sword up, he "creates a wall of water for protection while contracting his body for defense" as according to Reborn.
3rd Offensive Form: Sudden Downpour
As hinted in the name, a surprise attack in which he kicks the goddamn sword.

5th Offensive Form: Early Summer Rain
"A slicing attack where the katana is switched between hands during the swing, and both the trajectory and the timing are switched freely," says Reborn. Starts off with a charge.
6th - ???
7th Defensive Form: Spraying Rain
a series of multiple long, sweeping slices; when used in water, creates a tunnel of protection around him. Wouldn't want to go near him out of the water when he's using this either, harhar.
8th Offensive Form: Pouring Rain
starts at a low thrust, then "splits" at multiple points. Created by his father, it's the one that Yamamoto knows best. Nothing bonds father and son together like killing techniques. ;A;
9th Offensive Form: Mirroring Rain
batting stance that evokes surge of water on the swing, then manipulates reflections to pull a fakeout (description taken from lolmafialol , because I had NO IDEA HOW TO DESCRIBE IT); created by Yamamoto himself.
Without his sword, Yamamoto relies on:
