Wherever I am, cups and glasses accumulate. Right now on the table beside me are four: a half-cup of coffee, a full glass of water, a cup of restorative soup (tomato), and one empty orphan which a few hours ago held tea

I eat candy in a very systematic way. If it's something like jelly beans, I separate by flavor and portion them out so that I'm narrowing down the numbers, in increasing order of preference. For example, if I have 1 strawberry, 2 watermelon, and 3 marshmellow, I'd go: MM, W, MM, W, MM, S. That way I'm eating the one I like most at the end, and I have a string consisting of each flavor leading up to that favorite.
If it's something that's not flavored like M&Ms, I still tend to eliminate the duplicate colors first so that I have one of each color at the end, and then eat from least favorite color (brown) to most favorite color (usually green, but depends on the day).
I can just eat them in any old order if I need to - it's not a compulsion thing. It just seems more orderly to do it that way, and since generally there's nothing stopping me, that's what I do.
That's kind of adorable. :) I like your sweet eating system, though now you've made me want skittles. I love scrunching up different ones in different flavour combinations!
Also when I'm eating something circular like a burger, I eat around in concentric circles until I get to the middle.
OMG fellow concentric-circle eater! How do you eat apples? Do you go all the way around in a circle on top and then all the way around in a circle on the bottom?
I eat food in sequence. Like sweets and vegetables and stuff, its not always the same, just a sequence. And it has to be in even numbers, I hate when things are odd. I also eat corn on the cob in rows... it really freaks people out but I can't help it.
I've always had a thing for stuff being even, and MATCHING. Everything must match and be in order.
I don't mind that too much, I just pick them out. My brother cooks everything in a big pot and just puts it on a plate, so you gotta get used to mixed up food!
