“Oh my god, Shar!” Ryan looked horrified as he followed, taking the next seat. “I would never...! You know me better than that. Don’t be gross!”

Ryan’s eyes widened as he turned back to Chad. “I mean…not to say that making out with you would be gross!” His cheeks flushed a vivid pink. “You know I don’t think making out with you is gross. Of course, I love it…I mean, like it…I mean….”

LOL. I loved that part, so cute.

Also loved the twins dancing in their seats to the music, I do that too when I hear music I've had a show to. (colorguard... so actually, I'm dancing in my seat and air-flagging stuff... which, now that I think about it, probably looks pretty weird to strangers who may see me. XD)

And yay for making out during intermission!

I miss it too (although I just got done with hs this year, lol). I wanted to do guard in college as well, but I missed the auditions for this upcoming fall, so I guess I'll have to wait until next year. I don't know what I'm going to do in the mean time... Take a dance class or something, I guess...

Did you do winterguard as well, or just colorguard?

I only did colorguard. They didn't offer winterguard at either my high school or the university I went to (I just graduated). I had missed the auditions as well because I thought I didn't want to do it, but then I realized I wanted to, so I sent a letter to the head band director asking him for a place and luckily someone had just dropped out because she was getting married or something. I think it helped that I had been captain of my HS squad, but you could try it. At the very least they'll remember you for next year!

This was beautifully written, I liked the idea and the execution, as well as the personalities you gave to the characters. So sad Mr. Evans couldn't be here too; but then, his trip was the reason why Chad was invited, so I think can handle it =P.
