Ryan doesn't realize his power over young, impressionable jocks. It's definitely an Evans thing. Interesting perspective on his character, smothered as it was by his over-zealous sister; that gave us a unique glimpse into his insecurities.

I love that Chad can just not comprehend the effect Ryan has on him.

They moved so quickly though... I mean, I buy Ryan's explanation, maybe, but still... too fast? Or maybe that's just because I'm a girl.

And everybody but Ryan and Chad thinking that Ryan was seducing Chad... heck, yeah.

THis was sweet, but it was one of those stories where (even though you didn't describe him as sad) I felt like Ryan was aching through most of it. Feeling the way he did about Chad, setting up all his rules, not talking to anyone about it ... poor thing. I'm so glad you gave him such a hopeful ending.

My favorite image from this fic is little Ryan being tucked into bed, telling his parents he can't wait until he finds his prince. That should be canon.
