It's very distinctive snoring, really. Lilly recognized it on her way through bar to her suite, but it wasn't until she was halfway up the stairs that she wondered if he knew about the nightmares.
And then she thought about going back and waking him up, but he probably wouldn't appreciate that and he might not want to see her and yeah.
She doesn't turn back, but there's a vague worry for him lingering at the back of her mind even as she slips into the Dreaming.
Currently, in his own particular corner of the Dreaming, he's raising a bottle and whooping cheers at Patience as she does high-kicks in a skirt made of cash.
Lilly's path through dreams is influenced by her unconscious mind as much as her conscious thoughts.
Of course, it appears that unconscious worry for Jayne was not exactly necessary. It's clearly not a nightmare, but she can't keep herself from stopping to stare.
"Seriously? This is your dream?"
The words are out of her mouth before she realizes she's saying them.

Patience does look like she's getting tired. (She's not as young as she used to be.)
