is the whole black rebel motorcycle album good? I think it sounds a bit all the same so I didn't buy it but now I kinda want to.

I love ladytron.

well, you're right. they are the kind of band that finds their niche and sticks with it. the album i like isn't the new one 'cause i think the newer one is maybe a bit too much of a somewhat good thing. it's worth buying if you find it cheap and that's your thing though.

and, yes. ladytron = digigoodness. they were a fun/attractive group to see live.

so you suggest that b.r.m.c. album? because its a bit raw-er?I picked up the rapture's new album and a friend tells me the last one was better - more rocking out then electric stuff thrown in. It seems like a lot of bands first albums are the best. they have created a sound and its fresh and alive. After that they are repeating themselves. They might still put out a good album but like you said, it can end up sounding like too much of a good thing. Although some people really like that. I don't know if you like Interpol but it took me months of repeated listening to get tired of that album. and I saw them live months before they hit MTV and all that and they were fabulous and I got to meet the band and so on and so on. I saw them again a couple months ago and they played a few new songs from a new album they're starting and I am thinking yet again its not going to be as good as the first. I think even Ladytron's 604 is better than Light and Magic, even though that's an incredible album. I guess I could list numerous bands that still ( ... )
