btw torrey dearest.... you CAN turn off an ipod nano.... all you have to do is press and hold the play/pause button, and it will turn off! YAY! (i read the little manual pamphlet :D) and i don't think your link works, cause it didn't work for me... it just had http://w and that's it...
i loves you! oh! and i'm getting an AC adapter for Little Depp, so yeahhh i'm gonna take Little Depp to London with me, soooooooo, can i borrow that one thing to hold an ipod nano....since i'll be needing it...cause you know i'll probably drop it if i don't... GIMME A CALL SIS!
now I didn't get to follow your lovely little link, but I'm not sure if comparing the nano to the mini is really valid as the nano was not produced in addition to the mini but to replace the mini and the mini is where the clickwheel was first introduced so it has that going for it.
The Shuffle, while I do think is rather useless does serve a useful purpose of being a "gateway" iPod, it's still an iPod, but is cheap so that it is in the range of a teenager with a part time job or convincing parents to buy. I certainly wouldn't spend a few hundred dollars on something that might get stolen at school or lost easily.
