Buy a bottle of Nasalcrom nasal spray and follow directions. It's really good at stopping mast cells from creating all that mucus. Plus it has a great side effect profile, is not a steroid, and will not cause rebound when you stop using it.

p.s. The "D" part of claritin-D is what folks use to manufacture methamphetamine. That's the reason for the restriction.

Sounds nasty - I'd go for the shots. At $2.00 per pill for the Claritin, the shots are a better deal over the long run.
