A lovely and talented sing-songerwriter SJ Tucker was hospitalized recently. She medical bills are going to be INSANE. Unfortunately, the only thing I can do is post a link to this community: Save Our Sooj! and hope the rest of you buy her cds.

I saw it on lj's main page, so hopefully things go well for her! has she had surgery yet?

not yet. they're not even sure what's wrong. thankfully they've pumped her full of antibiotics and she's feeling well enough to start her tour on friday. in memphis! yeah!

Almost certainly, yeah. you're a lover of good folk music and sassy wimmins, and she is both in a package!
(if we're doing musical recommendations, have you heard The Low Anthem on XPN yet? They're sick, really good. I am so thrilled that americana/folk is popular-ish right now!)
