tonight was the first "knit n' play". like kid n' play, it was too hype! erin, karissa and i spent hours in starbucks working on our new snbniagara project, squarey.
well, even if i end up somewhere other than mississauga or toronto, i'll at least have a car and you'll at least be much closer than ottawa! hang outs on a regular basis are inevitable! haha
it's all about the people. if you're surrounded by the right sort of people, i'm sure even nunavut could be fun!
i think toronto is kinda overrated. sure i don't live there, but i've spent the majority of my weekends there for the past four years. maybe i'm bored of it? it's also just so expensive! and most the jobs are more demanding and stressful (not to mention there's more competition to get them).
i plan to apply to jobs all over southern ontario. if i can live in mississauga, i think i can live almost anywhere. haha

My Squarey isn't close to being done either! I did get a chance to work on him today, though, and I took some photos to post.
You should check the Hobby Shop on St.Paul for those eyes (if you are still down?) or any craft store. I was thinking that button eyes may look a little chunky, too. For Henry the Bear, I just stitched on eyes with black yarn, but I think that the safety eyes would look the most profesh.
Have you planted any Money Trees yet? I played Animal Crossing today and all the snow is gone!!! There wasn't even any thawing! And I got a new hair-do that I like....It's the original bob style, but in pink! I look like a raver!

i'm back in mississauga. there's gotta be some craft stores in toronto that would carry them, but stitching on eyes with black yarn isn't a bad idea if the eyes can't be found.
you made henry the bear? i wanna see!!
i've planted my money tree, but it's still growing so i can't shake it yet. i'm hoping tomorrow it'll be fully grown. i had the exact same pink bob! it was my first hair at the salon. all you need is the pacifier my character has to be totally raver. haha

i'm also on a mission to find those exact eyes for my squarey because regular buttons just won't do.
