I gave a prospective student tour. Insane to think that was me only a year ago going through an intense decision process. Weird to think that I've actually established a life here since then, and I'm enjoying the way things are going. Crazy to think I'll be done with all of it in a year. Things may be going quite well at the moment. I may have gotten over 100% on a ridiculously hard exam. My department head may have tracked down my supervisor to inform her that I did an awesome job on my huge presentation. I may have had the afternoon off to get all of my errands done. I have a desk calander with circles on it. This morning, I discovered that the bottom of my coffee mug has the exact same circumference as those circles. Coincidence? I think not.

Time to go give someone the Woodcock-Johnson. hehehe. I'm so immature.

Guess who was interviewed on the news?  My Dad!!  He's the project manager/designer for the new monastery being built for the St. Clare nuns here in Greenville, and they finally broke ground on the project last week.  Their whole facility is designed with "green" architecture to be as self-sustaining and as energy efficient as possible.  (My Dad ( Read more... )
