Weave Woes

This weekend was the first agility trial I've been to in many, many weeks. I've missed it. And since I've also missed many classes due to heat cancellations and travel, things didn't go as smoothly as I'd hope. Bea continues to feel very ambivalent about those weaves.

That was a great run on Sunday! I think you did just the right thing by jackpotting her weaves on Sunday.

I wonder if you could set up some fun, weave proofing drills - and have jackpots ready and waiting. I have been doing some fun proofing things and my dogs seem to really enjoy it - they act like, "you can NOT trick me!" When they don't get it right, they just try harder. They are not corrected...just try again. That is one thing I like about 2 x 2 weave training. Dunno - just a thought. :-)

So good to see you at the trial. I always enjoying talking with you!! I hope a group of us can go to lunch/dinner after a trial sometime soon!!

I wish you were nearby so we could weave proof together! I plan on more of what you're talking about. What I need even more is to get out to more fun matches because Bea is pretty amazing in practice with weaves.
