San Francisco is gorgeous. It's what a real city should be. There is so much intensity in such a small space (it's the second-densest city in the country), yet it feels so relaxed at the same time. have you been to haight-ashbury? go to the end of haight street and into the park, and under the bridge. there's a giant meadow/hill area where all the hippies hang out. that was our favourite place to go :D

Yeah, we wandered along Haight for a while, it was pretty freakin' sweet. There were so many cool little shops there, along with some great restaurants, and of course, Amoeba Music. We didn't make it to that park though, i'll be sure to check it out next time. Heh, yeah, I'm already planning for next Love Parade.

Ah, I do know what you mean about SF. It imbues one with such a feeling of...hmm...freedom? I'm not sure.

You know what else is fucking great? Seattle. That's why I'm moving there. Next week.

Luck-ky. The Pacific northwest sounds so fantastic. I've never been to any of the big cities out there (Portland, Seattle, Vancouver), but they sound amazingly green and liberal. It's something about being on the ocean, I think.
