There is a petition circling around somewhere about encouraging California rethinking its pending ban on incandescents. The petition points out that many people are photosensitive and that, while we're concerned about energy conservation, we shouldn't be forced to use a product that makes us feel ill and provokes flares. I think it would allow for a medical release from the ban or something instead of stopping the ban completely.
