Wow, Doc 1 sounds like the douche of a doc I was dealing with this year.
I suggest going to the office, filling out a records request, and physically handing it to someone. Write down their name and the date. Ask when the chart will be avaliable for you to pick up. (Hopefully they won't charge you for copies, but they have the right).
They legally MUST provide you with copies OR transfer your records in a timely manner (their office policiy will be on the records release form, usually it takes them 72 hours or up to a full business week).
FIGHT GIRL, FIGHT!! You are better than this doc. Don't let him get you down. You can get your new doc to read yor records and summarize, and if you so choose you can even release parts to your disability claims manager yourself.
GOOD LUCK!!! I'm rooting for you. Keep your chin up.
Good Luck

*hugs* I agree. Go in and physically hand them a medical records request form (or even better, ask for theirs), and MAKE them give you your records. *hugs*
I'll definitely keep you in our thoughts. Hopefully your new doctor will be able to get your records. If not, write down every little detail you can think of about your illness.
Fighting with disability is a hard thing to do. I hope your fight ends soon.
