Everyone is leaving because the media has scared the **** out of all of you. It does really seem that actual education on what parts of Houston (or any coastal city) are actually in danger would be nice. But, heaven forbid we actually educate people. It is much more interesting to either leave them to die w/o food and water, or to make them run screaming.

I can't imagine how dreadful it must have been to be in bumper to bumper traffic for hours...my idea of hell. But, I am glad that you and yours are safe & sound (as much as ever, that is).
