I'm having a hard time adjusting to the fact that we're seniors. It's something that I've been looking forward to and been imagining for so long that now that it's here it just feels weird. Not quite sure how I feel about my schedule yet...not overly excited but not overly depressed...just blah. I have some teachers though that I think will be exciting to have. I'm sitting here next to a fire roaring in the fireplace, a good book in my hand, and listening to the rain outside. It may not exactly be summer weather but it's wonderful, very comforting. Yeah so after traveling for 15 (?I think. I've lost all track of time. My mom had to ask our driver what day it was because we were all so confused. That makes me happy. Last summer when my family where in Spain we made friends with a gay couple who had left everything (their jobs, family, etc) in America to live in Spain together and so that makes me really happy that now they can live happily ever after in a marriage ( Read more... )
