More poetry crap...

Darkness takes another breath
As shields depart on ones own death
And light will shine on those who know
Just how much much farther this must go

Bring the bottles, bring the wine
This one party has not much time
For tears unshed will build a dam
To damn those that I know I can

Tripped upon your metal heart
I beat a rythmn that begins to start
Foreboding from another life
One that tells of well known strife

Thumping, crashing, to an end
Just one desire; to know a friend
And yet I bring myself to tears
Of twenty-something wasted years

The pittering upon your pane
Is like the sound of my own rain
If only you could feel my fear
Of lonely, helpless, tearful years

You think you know the truth, I'm told
But on your pound-less soul you're sold
A worthless mite you once ignored
Is getting once again reforged

To strike upon emotions shield
And once again until you yield
My might you could have known not how
That so much further this should go
