And you know I really appreciate that Niou kinda... fleshed out his background and Niou magically pulled a reason as to why he bothered Yagyuu in the first place, out of his ass, but don't do it like right before the final stretch of the fic you silly boy. It would've been so much more appreciated if you came out and told me these things right at the beginning or even in the planning stages ldskaj f;ldsk

Well, since you have a plot, maybe you could start just... writing random dialogue or character actions for a main scene/your favourite idea in the plot? And then build from there? At least you'd be getting something down, and it's always much more fun to write a scene that you REALLY like than anything else. :)!

Where does the '2' and '8' come from?

In Japanese, the number 2 is said as 'Ni' and the number 8 can be said as 'Hachi' or 'Ya'. It's taking the first two syllables of Niou and Yagyuu that makes it a short hand way to say their pairing name.
