OMG. This reminded me of a book called Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld. So good. I was really drawn in. I wanted to know more about the B.E.A.S.T.S. and the war and how they fought. (History nerd, forgive me.)

But seriously, this was so descriptive. I actually like that there weren't huge bits of dialogue. I feel that would have ruined the flow of the piece. And I do want more. (Nice touch of Sana/Yuki there, bravo.)

Never read that book. XD;

I... struggled a lot writing this because there wasn't a lot of dialogue. I couldn't just banter my way through it!

Glad you enjoyed it. If I return to the universe the creation of the B.E.A.S.T.S. would be one of the things I explored as well as the post-war ramifications.

Wow.

This was completely mind blowing. You paint such an interesting setting and I wish there was more of this. The idea is good, the mix of vampires and steam punk headily present and yet you keep it so damn real and believable.

I'd love for there to be more to this concept one day. You filled it with so much backstory and intriguing ideas.

The descriptiveness was amazing. I was actually watching this play out instead of reading it, which, considering the otherworldly setting, is a damn mean feat. Wonderful.

I'm speechless. Original and fresh. And damn good at that.

^^ Thank you!

I liked the world best out of all of this. There was such an after-rain vibrance to it that I loved.

Oh well if I'd know that was your squick...

:( They wanted cyborg Yagyuu! Be glad I didn't chop off half of his body.

Thank you so much for this lovely fic, Author-san! I love the the atmosphere of this fic and the way it frills as if I can just wander off into this world, grab a seat somewhere, and watch stuff happen. It's brilliant.

I like the understated way the D1 relationship was portrayed, and the dialogue is excellent as well. Overall, this fic made me very happy, and I will enjoy reading it many times over~ I was really stressed out about my fic for this exchange and was beginning to question whether it was worth all the pain and anguish (XD) to participate. Now I'm really really glad I pulled through after all, because otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to read something so nice <3

*editedit* I liked the cunning use of backstory as well. I would really like to see more of this world D=

^_^ I'm glad you enjoyed it! The idea of Yagyuu with a shiny arm was one that hit me immediately at reading your request.

I'm glad you participated in the exchange and that this made all your stress worth it!

Wow, this was really excellent! It was really well written, and had so much detail in it yet it never said more than it needed to, and everything unraveled so nicely and with good timing.

Definitely liked the understated D1 interaction a lot, from their dialogue to their body language. Their relationship was kind of mysterious to begin with, but the way you wrote it kept me so interested to see how it would all be revealed. Your Yagyuu was ♥♥♥♥

I don't know if you're planning on expanding it, but I'd definitely like to see more of this universe :D

Niou and Yagyuu like to be mysterious. Seriously, I don't think I could ever write them just being honest.

IDK if I will expand the universe. Like I've said, I had some plans for it. BIG GIANT RIDICULOUS plans that kept cramping up between my brain to my fingers.
