Awww, this was cute. I liked each other's accounts, and when Niou went to find Yagyuu and how the other school members helped him, that was cute :3 I sniggered when Niou grabbed Kirihara's hair by mistake, oops!

I hope Yagyuu won't get battered so he can finally face Niou again, heee. I'm pretty certain they'll both make it to the top eventually. Shakes fist at Konomi separating everyone>(

All in all, this was a nice, pleasant read :)

I have no idea what direction Shin Tenipuri is going...I'm hoping there will be clashes and rematches, but I hope they'll be combining forces too because I want to see them together. ):

I totally enjoyed this! I've never liked the Shin Tenipuri series (mostly because I think it's Konomi just flogging a dead horse) but I really enjoyed your characterisation of Yagyuu and Niou. There's been a whole lot of AU stuff on this exchange - and while I totally enjoy AU stuff, it's also nice to just see some teenage boys playing tennis - and this fits the bill to a tee. Thank you for writing it! :D

Glad you enjoyed it! I was really surprised by Shin Tenipuri and even more surprised when Shin Tenipuri ended up being a training camp (it seems like not much time passes at all in the series), but I can't say I wasn't excited about it. It also lends to a convenient separation between Niou and Yagyuu which, I hope, will lead to an awesome reunion. If not in canon, then in fic. XD

Hehe, with those references, I had to type out a list to make sure I was referring to the right characters and not someone who wasn't suppose to be with that group.

I really enjoyed how you translated Shin Tenipuri into something that really works with D1. I love that you let Niou try to fool Yagyuu a little bit, to get back at him for the match. It might have just been you playing around with new ideas, but I enjoyed reading this a lot.

Thank you! I'm glad because I really was just playing around with ideas, trying to see how Yagyuu and Niou might be coping with their new surroundings and how they might be interacting with the others. :)
