That is amazingly powerful. And I can't get over how many of them have had similar experiences. It's shameful that people still behave that way after all these years and all that's happened in the world.

i just keep reading and rereading their experiences and it makes me see how important it is for my kids to learn how to express themselves through writing. cause in this day and age nobody believes that this shit still happens- but it happens ALL THE TIME. and not just in the south or in backwards places.
