Yesterday I snorted salt water. I've been feeling very sick, and was told that doing so would clear my nose. So, I poured some salt in a cup, put my nose up to a teaspoon and snorted it into each nostril. I coughed, some of it came out my mouth. It was sexy. Wish you could have been there.

Unfortunantly it did not work!

yeah, supposedly it's a natural nostril spray.
also good for you if you're sick: eat as much garlic (raw=best) as possible. it's a natural antibiotic. if you're not sure how to force yourself to eat like a clove of garlic at a time, here's the way i've done it before (when you're desperate you're desperate): make toast and spread it with honey and garlic. the honey masks the taste of the garlic and sticks it to the toast. like magic!
and the usual, take lots of vitamin C, drink LOTS of water, etc.

hmm, i'd definitely try that if i was at home. my mom always has garlic around.

but i've totally been down with emergen-c and water. i've been feeling a lot better since yesterday.

thanks for the advice!

randomly came across this....

maybe you know all this already and then forgive me or sounding like a total asshole knwo it all but...
your just suppose to pour it up your nose like with a netti pot, turn your head to one side and pour the salt water in. you dont really want to suck it up snort it.just let it fall in .
table salt is also a lot harsher then the stuff they sell at places like whole foods specifically for cleansing your nasal passages.

you can also take garlic cloves like pills.
just swallow them .
